the sadness it may bring to our lives.
We wait for our lives to get better on their own.
But this is what we shouldn’t be doing.
We should be protecting ourselves
for whatever life has in store for us in the future.
We should be protecting our hearts, our bodies,
and our loved ones.
We must erect strong barriers to withstand any storm.
Only then will be prepared.
Only then we won’t be sitting and waiting, like
a lone tree waiting on the mountain for lightning to strike.
