DON’T LEAVE ME

Please don’t set.
Don’t remove your light.
Your warmth.
Your heat.
The nights are cold.
The shadows are long.
Don’t allow the moon its space.
It brings horror in its light.
Shadows in its path.
Please don’t leave me.
THE DEAD GAME

THE FINAL BELL

passium Deactivated

Walk to the end.
A long walk alone.
Clouds hang low.
Quiet reigns supreme.
Darkness abounds.
One foot in front of the other.
Moving closer to the end.
Does heaven wait for me?
I close my eyes in acceptance.
Fate has rung her final bell.

THE MIGHTY SPELL

Mare (live in Kraków)

A spot of evil.
A dash of hell.
A flicker of candlelight.
A skull or two.
Are you prepared
To fight The Dead?
Don’t forget your spell book.
A mighty spell can take them down.
THE DEAD GAME

RED HOT

Red hot waves lap at the shore,
Bringing with it, blood and gore.
Paradise has come to an end.
The Dead are right around the bend.
Death is their evening delight.
They descend with all of their might.
Florida will never be the same
Once it becomes part of The Dead Game.

FOLLOW THE LIGHTS

Follow the lights to the house of glass.
There will be much splendor in the grass.
Lights in the trees as far as the eye could see.
A more decadent event there could not be.

Champagne will be flowing until the wee hours.
Come with me and dance with the pretty flowers.
This room full of guests gives me a chill.
Maybe we should leave I’ve had my fill.

Eyes are following us in the room.
They will be upon us all too soon.
The guests are not what they appear.
Beneath they are just bones and hair.

GONE TOO SOON

It lights up quick.
It burns out fast.
I’m left in its wake
with the burnt ashes
of my aching heart.

LEAVE THE DARKNESS BEHIND

Alice Svane

Let the sun inside.
Don’t live in darkness.
Let the light into your heart.
It can be done.
Open the window.
Breathe the fresh air.
Walk outside.
Leave the darkness behind.

THE PERFECT MELODY

THE PERFECT MELODY The air is heavy. Clouds roll in. The sky grows dark. You hear the first drops. The water pounds on the roof. A staccato melody of its own. Pound, pound, pound. Tap, tap, tap. Rain washes our streets. Clears our minds. A new day...

THE PERFECT MELODY
The air is heavy.
Clouds roll in.
The sky grows dark.
You hear the first drops.
The water pounds on the roof
in a staccato melody of its own.
Pound, pound, pound.
Tap, tap, tap.
Rain washes our streets.
Clears our minds.
A new day arrives.

THE ROAD TO OASIS

colors trees

Take the road to Oasis.
A bright and sunny road
Filled with wishes and dreams.
No worries or despairs.
The Oasis Hotel waits with open arms.
High archways invite sea breezes.
Tourists lounge by the pool.
No worries or despairs.
Until night falls.
Dark shadows appear on the streets
And on the white-sanded beach.
No worries or despairs.
No worries or despairs
For those who take care.
Death for those who do not.

LOST AT A CARNIVAL

I’m lost at a carnival,
A carnival of nightmares.
A clown leers at me.
The knife-thrower aims
But misses.
I run into a tent.
Mirrors surround me,
Distorting my reflection.
I flee into the darkness,
Crashing through a mirror.
Glass rains on me.
I’m in a dark room.
The floor spins.
I grab for the walls.
They are wet and shiny.
There’s no way out.
The floor bottoms out,
And I’m falling.

THE DEAD GAME by Susanne Leist

BLOODY SUNRISE

The sun rises over the red water,
red from the bloodshed that night.
Bodies wash up on the shore,
vestiges of the parties held that night.
Bloody footsteps mar the shoreline
left by The Dead walking at night.

THE RETURN

Source:

Wolf returns to Oasis.
We’ve missed him.
His good looks.
Charming personality.
Deadly ways.
Will he arrive as a bat,
Or maybe as a wolf?
He could take the place
Of one of our own.
Will his appetite be as fierce,
His passions as strong?
So many questions
Waiting to be answered
In book 2 of THE DEAD GAME.
