My new release MEET ME IN MAINE(Book One of The Blue Harbor Series) brings murder, mystery, and romance to a seaside town.
Sit back, put up your feet, and let me bring mystery and romance to your lives.
Time is ticking away. I fear I cannot stay. Goodbyes must be fast, And soon in the past. My train is on the track. I didn’t have time to pack. So sad to leave today, But what is there to say? Goodbye my dear for now As I take my last bow.
Creepy, creepy, scary. This can become hairy. The house is haunted and dark.
I came on a simple lark. But now that I'm here, I'm frozen with fear.
A party is to be held for us all,
But to evil creatures we might just fall.
Down to the basement we go, This is silly even I know. Saws are swinging up ahead, Looking to chop off a head. Traps are falling from the low ceiling. My wet feet are losing all feeling. We are standing in a pool. And I feel like a big fool. We should have gone when we had a chance.
The creatures will make us sing and dance. The Dead have a morbid sense of humor; Should have listened to every rumor. Goodbye to one and all. I see the bouncing ball. THE DEAD GAME
"Life goes on, But how can I?" Lost in her suffering in a town of despair, Linda knows not how to release herself from here. She gazes out at the big bright moon, Knowing full well what it will bring soon. "Please save us from the evil forces at bay. We can't live through this for even one more day." Will this night be the same as all the rest? Fleeing through the night at someone's behest. Will they ever be safe again in their beds? To lie down asleep and rest their weary heads.
"I see a light in the distance. We can offer no resistance. They are here for us all. This night the town will fall.
TAKE ME FAR AWAY Come with me away from it all. Let’s climb a hill that’s really tall. An island for me and you. And skies that are clear and blue. We will take long walks on the sand. And don’t forget to take my hand. I will never feel alone or lonely. I will always have my one and only.
have to say that The Dead Game is hands down one of the most twisted,
insane and wonderful jaw-dropping books I've ever read! It's full of
mystery, suspense, endless twists and turns and leaves you wanting more
and more. I literally couldn't put it down. The characters are highly
curious and undoubtedly flawed and some of their actions made me want to
scream at certain points in the story. It's incredibly creative in
parts and the way in which Leist writes is incredible. This is a
must-read book and I'd recommend it in a heart beat.
A long journey to become an author. Days of soul searching and hard work. The words need to be enticing and clear. A bridge to the reader's heart. A movie camera sweeps across scenes. So does a book's point of view. One point of view shows one angle. Changing points of view can reveal many more.
To be lost in a book is truly a gift. An escape from the mundane and boring. A visit to far away places. An adventure to open your mind's eye.
Once completed, a book is a treasure. A symbol of an author's hopes and dreams. A confectioner's delight to be tasted and savored. To be remembered by many or just a few.
