MAGIC

Source:

MAGIC
Magic governs our lives.
It sets the course.
The paths we follow.
Igniting in colors.
Creations.
Roaring wildlife.
Sedate sceneries.
Words in a book.
Clouds in the sky.
Magic.

A TROPICAL PARADISE

Let’s take the green carpet
Through the dense bush.
Mosquitoes our constant companions
Through the moisture-laden air.
Exotic plants fan our way
Through the sounds of the forest.
Shrieks and shouts accompany us
Through the rustling trees.
Snapping sounds follow us
Through our trek in the water.
The tempo quickens.
The beat picks up.
The air becomes heavier.
The sky greener.
We become one with nature.
Lost in a tropical paradise.

INTO THE JUNGLE

Source:

Take me into the jungle.
Across the bamboo bridge.
To where it’s hot and humid.
And exotic creatures come to life.
Branches hit me in the face.
Bugs bite my hands and legs.
Greenery attempts to bury me.
But this is the life I want to live.

THE GREENHOUSE

Source:

A green house in Florida.
Greenery and wildlife to the brim.
Trees with life of their own.
Birds unseen but heard.
Limbs reaching.
Grabbing for the next visitor.
Snakes slithering in their cages.
Wings flapping in the next room.
Surprises in store.
And so much more.
Come and join us.

THE HOUSE IS ALIVE!

Welcome to my greenhouse.
Wolf steps back from the door
to allow his guests to enter.
They walk into a room filled with trees.
No paths meander through the thick greenery.
They follow Wolf through the tangled grove
to the back of the room.
Leaves rustle with the sounds of wildlife.
But no animals or birds are visible.
The back wall is filled to the high ceiling
with cages of snakes.
Snakes thrusting their long tongues
at the unwelcome guests.
Wolf laughs at their discomfort.
Time to leave the strange house.
They run past the tall trees,
who lift their mighty trunks in pursuit.
The whole house shakes,
while Wolf bellows louder in laughter.
They run through the room of portraits
that follow them with their eyes.
They must escape before the house
swallows them alive.
THE DEAD GAME HAS BEGUN.

WHAT DOES HE SEE?

atraversso:

A beautiful fox.
What is he looking at?
What is he thinking?
What has him so confused?
I always wonder what animals
are feeling and thinking.
I wonder if they’re trying to
understand us at the same time.

AWE-INSPIRING

brutalgeneration:

Deep forest (by andrea.k.e)

The power of nature is awe-inspiring.
The way the trees soar up to the sky.
The sky that holds the shining sun,
casting its bright glow on everyone.
It is unique and divine in its own way.

FREEDOM

We need to fly free.
No one or nothing alive should ever feel trapped.
Trapped by circumstances or actual chains.
We were put on this earth to explore and learn.
So keep learning and reading, and never let
anyone impose any limits on your freedom.

FOR A SILLY HAT

What a waste.
Too bad the animal doesn’t know
that he lost his life just to be used
as some silly hat.

CALL OF THE WILD

YOU CAN PAINT A PRETTY PICTURE
WITH A BLUE SKY AND TREES,
BUT NATURE WILL ALWAYS BE PRETTIER
AND CAN NEVER BE DUPLICATED.

WHOM TO TRUST?

NATURE IS SO BEAUTIFUL

AND OBSERVE.

WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?
DO THEY WANT TO TRUST US?
ARE THEY HOPING THAT
PEOPLE COULD BE NICE TO THEM?
ARE WE CAPABLE OF
APPRECIATING NATURE?
IF I WERE THEM,
I WOULDN’T TRUST US.

Man vs. Nature

I love this picture. It shows technology—our homes and electronics—in the middle of a field of flowers and wild mushrooms. The field would look prettier and much more peaceful without the house and people marring the scenery. Life is becoming too crowded with stuff.
