DANCE FOR ME

DANCE FOR ME

Rise up through the air.
Lift your fins.
Your pointy face to the sky.
Dance for me.
Let the water flow.
Back into the ocean.
But keep yourself in the air.
Dance for me.
Give me your wicked smile.
A little laugh.
Show me your endless joy.
Dance for me.
I want to see your special dance.
A clap or two.
A little twist for me.
Dance for me.

THEY LAUGH

They laugh
from within the walls.
I can hear them
but not see them.
The door opens to their den,
in the dungeons below.
Can Wolf save them?
Does he even want to?

WHAT DOES HAPPINESS LOOK LIKE?

WHAT DOES HAPPINESS LOOK LIKE?

I've never been a happy person.
More of a serious person.
So what does happiness look like?
Is it the smile on a mother's face?
Is it the laughter of a toddler?
Is it the loving look of a lover?
Look around you.
Do people really look happy?
Or do they look preoccupied?
Maybe a little impatient or hurried?
Do people even look happy at a party?
Some may be smiling.
Some may be off to the side, watching.
If you supply some liquor,
Then you might see some happiness.
So who is happy?
My dog rubbing his back across the rug
Is the epitome of true happiness.
Animals have cornered the market on happiness.
They are content to be alive.
We should learn from them.

THE DEAD

THE DEAD

The Dead are now here.
I cower in fear.
I see Louise hanging
While The Dead are laughing.
They circle her body with their hoods on.
What have we done for this to come upon?
Their evil chanting flows to me through the air,
Lifting every single one of my hair.
Their leader is lifting his arms to the sky.
For my poor Louise, this is a sad goodbye.
I must run for help from the Sheriff.
For soon the rest of us will perish.

DANCE FOR ME

DANCE FOR ME

Elevate your body through the air.
Lift up your fins.
Your pointy face to the sky.
Dance for me.

Let the water flow down.
Back into the ocean.
But keep yourself high above all else.
Dance for me.

Give me your wicked smile.
A little laugh.
Show me your endless joy.
Dance for me.

I want to see your special dance.
A clap or two.
A little twist for me.
Dance for me.

BEAUTY ALL AROUND US

clusterpod:
Mycena interrupta
Myrtle Forest, Collinsvale, Tasmania

Beauty can be found in
the most unusual places.
Beauty surrounds us each day.
It can take on many forms.
It can be a soft laugh.
The smell of a rain shower.
A dog wagging its tail.
We are surrounded by beauty
whether we are able to discern it or not.

TEARS OF A CLOWN

Who are we?
What are we?
What do our faces
reveal about ourselves?
If we smile, does that
mean we’re happy?
If we cry, are we really
that sad?
Do we exaggerate our feelings
for the better effect?
Yes, we all do.
Take a closer look at the next
person who laughs or cries
before a captive audience.
See if they are showing true emotions
or just emoting for the benefit of others.

THE DEPTHS OF OUR IMAGINATIONS

IF WE JUST USE OUR IMAGINATIONS,
ANYTHING COULD BE POSSIBLE.
FLYING HORSES AND DOGS, MAYBE A FEW
DRESSED UP BIRDS.
WHATEVER YOU MIGHT IMAGINE COULD
COME TRUE TO YOU--IN YOUR MIND.
ENJOY!

SEND IN THE CLOWNS

THE CLOWN
Clowns are supposed to be funny.
They are supposed to make you laugh.
I find clowns scary and creepy.
