I AM MAN

mensweardog:
“ The Dogfather 🌹
”
I’m a man.
No a wolf.
I have feelings.
I roam the night.
I hunger for her.
I walk on all four.
I need her love.
I yearn for freedom.
I am man.
I will win her love.
THE DEAD...

I am man.
I will win her love.
Tonight.

FIGHT THE FIGHT

Sloughi by sloughinl on Flickr.

Fight.
Fight for what’s yours.
Fight for what’s right.
Don’t give up.
Don’t allow anyone
stop you,
or slow you down.
Do what’s in your heart.
Fight the fight.
Make it yours.

HE CALLS TO ME

HE CALLS TO ME
A duel to end all duels.
A battle to the death.
The winds raise the waves
To heights of ecstasy.
They tease the shore
With their pounding fury.
The sand reduced to dust
From their unrelenting force.
I’m torn in half,
Tempted by the ice storm,
Where cold flesh brings passion,
And games are the rule of the day.

Heat still flows through my veins,
Drawing me back to the light,
Where human flesh brings love
And easement from the storm.
Wolf rises from the water,
His body melting in droplets.
He exists no more.
He has lost the battle.
How could have I not known?
How could I have forgotten?
The cold waits no more for me.
Emptiness fills the void inside.
I can still hear his voice,
Feel his presence in the wind.
His icy fury slices into the shore,
Calling for me to join him.

FACE THE WIND

I face the wind.
Each day I wait.
For time to pass.
The world to change.
But day by day.
People come and go.
Live their short lives.
Leaving no change at all.

YOUR LIGHT

Source:

I wait for you each night.
Your sparkling glow.
Your everlasting heat.
The night bows to you.
The stars gather round.
Man looks up to you.
Take me into your light.

FAUX

Man takes over nature.
Then he must re-create it.
In his own format.
In his own fake way.
But never the same.

GONE

giacomocarmagnola: Exclusive artwork made with the new Pixel Sort effect for the Android app “Glitch!”

GONE
I’m fading.
Fading fast.
From view.
Lost.
Alone.
Invisible.
I can’t stop.
I can’t hold on.
To life.
It’s better this way.
For all.
For mankind.
For me to leave now.
Without further ado.
I’m here.
I’m gone.

WHAT DO WE NEED?

mountaineous: Punch-Drunk Reverie | Tula Top

What does a person need?
To make him feel safe.
To feel secure.
To feel at peace
with the world.
A stream of water.
A few mountains.
Some sunshine.
Birds chirping.
Blue sky peeking
through the entrance
to your own cave.
It can be as simple
as a floating leaf.
We need so little.
We require so little
to survive.
Yet the world provides us
with so much more.

MAN NEVER LEARNS

Man never learns.
He never learns his lesson.
To give nature her freedom.
Her space to expand.
Why should she be limited?
Why should she be encroached upon?
Move back mankind.
Let nature be free
to spread her wings.

THE OCEAN

THE OCEAN
No greater force on earth.
No master.
No remorse.
No purpose.
No stopping.
Not by a mountain
or by man.

UNDER THE SEA

Beneath the sea.
So many wonders to see.
Colors and textures to explore.
Is man welcome in this private
domain of sea life?
Once man swims below,
they scurry away, frightened.
Where they had once felt safe
has now become
a place of fear.
Go back up to the surface,
intruders of the ocean,
and allow the creatures of the sea
to roam free once more.

IN PERSPECTIVE

What if we were smaller than birds?
If we were smaller than all other animals?
Would we be so dominating over nature?
Would we be kings of the universe?
Look what happened to the dinosaurs.
What did happen to them?

THE MOON AT NIGHT

THE MOON
It holds many secrets.
What does it see as it shines at night?
Does it see the good of man or the bad?
Or maybe a little of both.

Man vs. Nature

I love this picture. It shows technology—our homes and electronics—in the middle of a field of flowers and wild mushrooms. The field would look prettier and much more peaceful without the house and people marring the scenery. Life is becoming too crowded with stuff.
