A PERFECT NIGHT

A nice night.
A perfect night for a walk.
The moon is shining.
The stars are twinkling.
The graveyard is eerie.
What?
There’s a mist weaving
through the graves.
A whistling sound in the air.
Followed by a cold wind.
What’s happening?
There are figures standing up.
They are rising from the graves.
And they all seem to be looking
at me.
Why?
They are now walking
toward me.
Time to end my walk.
They’ve surrounded me.
How did they move so fast?
They are transparent.
I can see through them.
A dark figure is standing
behind them.
A figure that isn’t transparent.
With a knife in his hand.
Time to run.
Too late.
A not so perfect night.

A WALK IN THE GRAVEYARD

Let’s take a walk through the graveyard.
Preferably at night under a full moon.
The gravel crunches under your soft footsteps.
The words on the tombstones welcome you
to visit their hosts.
You see a mausoleum in the distance.
Its door stand open,
beckoning for you to enter its darkness.
You step inside.
The door slams shut behind you.
You hear soft moaning sounds.
One of the doors of the crypt slowly opens.
A hand reaches out for you.
You move closer.
The door opens wider.
And then…
You wake up!
I’ll see you in your dreams.

THE HAUNTED HOUSE

Who doesn’t love a dark and deserted house?
A house that holds no people but only memories.
Memories of lives that have passed through its walls.
Walk through its old fence to its overgrown yard.
Sounds are coming from inside.
Shadows are moving through the yard.
Maybe this house isn’t as deserted
as we assumed.
End House holds more than memories.
It may be holding spirits who should
have been long gone.

DARK SHADOWS

DARK SHADOWS

Who are the spirits coming for?
Are they coming for you?

Who are the spirits coming for?
Are they coming for you?

Wide open space.
Looks deserted, doesn’t it?
It is during the day, but
at night dark shadows appear.
Who is their leader?
Who is responsible for the murders
and disappearances in the small
town of Oasis?
Are the shadows human or supernatural?

THE DEAD ARE RISING!

The Dead are rising.
The cemeteries and crypts will soon be busy.
Wine will be flowing and so will blood.
Come out, come out wherever you are!

(by miranda lehman)

Life can change very rapidly.
One minute, you can be sunning on the beach,
and the next moment, you could be caught in a storm.
Paradise could change to horror in a blink of the eye.
Enjoy what you have now before it is too late.
The Dead don’t take prisoners.

REVENGE CAN BE SERVED SWEET

If ghosts really do exist,
what do you think they’re doing?
Do you think they’re dancing in
a cemetery between the gravestones.
Could they be following people around
and blowing in their ears?
If I was a ghost, I’d be following the person
who was the meanest to me in life and
playing awful pranks on her (ahem, or him).
That is why we have our imaginations, so
that we can seek revenge in our dreams.

THE DEAD GAME DAY 49

witchinqhour:
THE DEAD GAME — DAY 49

Mike spoke up in his irritated tone of voice. “Let’s just quickly pick a door and see what’s behind it.” He strode over to the middle door and pulled it open.
He was about to take a step into the room when he realized—just before it was too late—that the room didn’t have a floor, but only a long drop into nothingness. He jumped back. “This is it for me; from now on I’m going to take a back seat in this awful game being played on us.”
Mike was useless anyway. He was only good at sarcasm or correcting David. Louise also believed that the sooner they escaped this horror show, the better; which led her to check out the next door.
“Let’s try the door to the right,” offered Louise. She watched Mike and David for their response. Neither of them spoke nor moved, so she opened the door herself and looked inside. The room opened to a high, narrow tower with a gated opening across the top.
“Who wants to climb the tower and open the gate at the top?” asked Louise. Mike and David looked too terrified to move. They both stood still.

WHERE IS SHE NOW?

THIS HAD BEEN A GOOD ENDING
IN THIS LIFE.
BUT WHAT IS THIS PERSON NOW
DOING IN THE UNDERWORLD?
THIS HAD BEEN A GOOD ENDING
IN THIS LIFE.
BUT WHAT IS THIS PERSON NOW
DOING IN THE UNDERWORLD?

WHERE AM I?

WHY AM I HERE?
IS IT MY TURN TO DIE?
WHO IS WAITING FOR ME BEYOND THE GRAVES?
IS THAT MY DEAD FAMILY?
OR IS THIS ONLY A BAD DREAM?
LET’S HOPE.
