THE MIGHTY SPELL

Mare (live in Kraków)

A spot of evil.
A dash of hell.
A flicker of candlelight.
A skull or two.
Are you prepared
To fight The Dead?
Don’t forget your spell book.
A mighty spell can take them down.

WHO AM I?

Who am I?
Who was I?
A man.
A woman.
A doctor.
A soldier.
Maybe a murderer.
Does it matter?
Does it matter anymore?
We all end up the same.
Underground.
Buried.
But it is how we are
remembered
that matters.
Our memory lingers on.
Be remembered as a
doctor,
soldier,
or murderer.
It’s your choice.

DIE

Not so easy to kill The Dead.
A knife through the eye.
Won’t kill them.
A drink of poison.
Won’t kill them.
Let’s add some sunlight.
A sure hot spot for them.
A beheading for dinner.
Will clear the riffraff away.
A witch’s spell could do the trick.
Be careful of your weapon of choice.
The Dead don’t die easily.

PULLING ME DOWN

Something is pulling me back.
Keeping me in this place.
Graves far into the distance.
A mausoleum paradise.
A hand is pulling me under.
Back into my hole.
I refuse to go back.
I refuse to be dead.

A STRANGE PLACE

The mind can be a strange place.
It can think up dark stories.
With monsters and demons.
A little murder and mayhem.
Skulls and bones for decoration.
Maybe your cup of tea is blood.
Your coffee carries some poison.
Let your mind roam the darkness.
And maybe beyond.

I WANT TO FLY

Source:

I don’t want to be dead.
I want to fly like the bird.
Be free to live in the light.
Roam the earth by day.
I’m tied to this hell.
An oasis for the living.
But death for the undead.

FEAR AND HOPE

THE TOWER

A tower slim and tall.
What evil might befall?
I could now climb up there.
Without a thought or care.
It’s narrow and dark inside.
And nowhere at all to hide.
The windows let in some light.
But not much up to this height.
I’ve finally reached the top room.
I feel like I’m about to swoon.
I climbed the steep stairs much too fast.
I’m happy I’ve left this to last.
White dust covers the floor.
There seems to be much more.
Skulls and bones are in the middle.
I’m now in a pretty pickle.
If I don’t leave here fast.
I’ll be part of the past.
A shadow rises in the room.
The end has come for me too soon.

THE DARK

A light shines into my room.
What was dark is now light.
The spotlight has hit its mark.
My body cold and shivering on the bed.
Whispers fill the night air.
Footsteps follow in their wake.
Doors open down below.
It is too late to run or hide.
Too late to save myself from him.
He walks the night to find me.
His journey has come to an end.
And so has mine.

HAPPY AS A CLAM

Foam Lady by Andrea_Izzotti

I’m happy as a clam in the sea.
Why don’t you come in and join me?
The water is cold and so fine.
Come and be a new friend of mine.
