COLUMN OF WAVES

Source:
The waves attack the shore.
Foam against sand.
Cold against hot.
A tower of strength.
Backed by the devil.
Riding the waves.
To take our town.
For his own.
We will fight the evil.
Stand side by side.
To defeat the enemy.
Oasis will stand proud.
Once more.

THE DARK FOE

Dark day
Source: hiraeeeth

Night drifts closer.
Black replaces blue.
Clouds fall slowly.
A dark day for you.

Grey clouds soak the pink.
The waves hit the shore.
I know what you think.
You can’t take much more.

Truth is hard to bear.
Our town lost its glow.
Nightwalkers are here.
Lost to the dark foe.

Moonlit Forest

"Walk with me through the moonlit forest.
Let our feet graze the tips of the grass,
Never touching down,
Held aloft by our love and passion.

Follow me through the endless night
To a land where no man walks.
Only creatures as dark as the sky
Dare to venture forth alone.

Love has no bounds or shackles.
We will be free to display our passion,
Without retribution from humanity,
As long as you remain mine.

Come with me, my ice princess.
Step away from the burning plains,
Where the heat burns your soles,
And love is hampered by the living."

He holds his hand out for mine.
The words flow from him.
His lips never utter a sound,
But his meaning is clear to me.

We can be together forever.
But the other one has followed us.
He will fight to take me back
And never give up his hold on me.

His eyes burn red with passion.
His fire follows close to our footsteps,
Scorching a trail through the grass,
Melting his enemy's cold trail.

They face each other.
Hot and cold from opposite poles,
Dueling until the end of time
As they fight for me.

Our games have just begun.

THE END IS NEAR

THE END IS NEAR

"Life goes on,
But how can I?"

Lost in her suffering in a town of despair,
Linda knows not how to release herself from here.
She gazes out at the big bright moon,
Knowing full well what it will bring soon.

"Please save us from the evil forces at bay.
We can't live through this for even one more day."

Will this night be the same as all the rest?
Fleeing through the night at someone's behest.
Will they ever be safe again in their beds?
To lie down asleep and rest their weary heads.

"I see a light in the distance.
We can offer no resistance.
They are here for us all.
This night the town will fall.

TURNED TO STONE

enyaja:

TURNED TO STONE

I have turned to stone.

I’m chilled to the bone.

The coldness is spreading.

Where can this be heading?

Please help me.

You can see.

Life is at its end.

I can’t even bend.

Who’s my deadly foe?

I still need to know.

Leave me be.

You shouldn’t see

What I’ve become.

Leave and be gone.

REVENGE CAN BE SERVED SWEET

If ghosts really do exist,
what do you think they’re doing?
Do you think they’re dancing in
a cemetery between the gravestones.
Could they be following people around
and blowing in their ears?
If I was a ghost, I’d be following the person
who was the meanest to me in life and
playing awful pranks on her (ahem, or him).
That is why we have our imaginations, so
that we can seek revenge in our dreams.

THE DEAD GAME -- DAY 81

The group, which had followed Todd through his discoveries, climbed up behind him into the attic that spanned the entire width of the house. The long room was empty, except for an elaborate computer system with monitors set up along the back wall. Todd sat down in one of the two desk chairs and began to scroll through the rooms shown on the monitors. All the rooms appeared to be empty.
“Let’s test out this fancy equipment and see how the rooms are controlled from up here. From here, I can track what happens when someone follows the loop of rooms.” Todd was impatient to find some answers. Before he found these monitors, he’d concluded that a supernatural force had planned the party. But now he was open to a new possibility: a human could have devised and implemented the complicated computer system. He didn’t know which was more dangerous, since he was aware that humans could be just as devious and evil as any demons.
“I’ll follow the rooms in a circle and then retrace them in the opposite direction.” Sam was pacing back and forth in the room—over and over again. “And I’ll bring Shana along with me.”
“Linda can remain with me…while Mike and David can follow along with Carl.” Todd said.
They all seemed eager to follow his orders, except for Mike, who shot an annoyed look over his shoulder before climbing back down the ladder. Todd turned his face away, refusing to acknowledge Mike’s silly show of stubbornness. First Carl made unexplained disappearances, and now Mike had issues with authority. All the dangerous missions that he’d led in the past didn’t have all the grumblings, complaints, and disregard for authority that this group exhibited. He knew that if they didn’t learn to work well together as one close-knit unit, then they weren’t going to be successful in defeating their enemy. He had a lot of work ahead of him before he could bring this ragtag group to some semblance of working order.
