A THANKSGIVING SPIN

A THANKSGIVING SPIN

Sweet and tasty it may be.

It does not come for free.

Life was given up

For this group to sup.

What are your holiday wishes?

And what could be the side dishes?

Some sliced fingers on a crystal plate

May satisfy your cravings of late.

Enjoy.

THE NIGHT BELONGS TO ME

Come to me, my sweet.
We dance to a special beat.
My lips turn red
from blood, I’ve bled.
The night belongs to me.
I won’t be set free.

GRIM REAPER

Grim reaper stands over me,
Where The Dead have come to be.
Blood won’t be my drink of choice,
Not if I have any voice.
I will go down with a fight.
I refuse to take a bite.
No bloodthirsty demon down here.
No reason to have any fear.

BLOOD RED MOON

Blood red moon is here.
It’s come for me.
It’s come for you.
The residents of Oasis
must take care.
Blood will fill the streets.
Flow through the ocean.
Bring The Dead in its wake.
They can smell our blood.
A beacon for them to follow.

FOLLOW THE CANDLES

The candles are leading us.
No one seems to be home at End House.
But the house is beckoning us.
It wants us to follow the flickering lights.
Should we go down to the basement?
What could be awaiting us there?
It can’t be anything good.

AN OASIS TO HELL

Beauty marred by death.
An oasis scarred by evil and murder.
Oasis, Florida promises sunshine and beaches
but delivers death and destruction.
Do you still want to visit?
We’ll be waiting.

BLOOD MOON

BLOOD MOON

The moon is a foreshadow
Of things to come,
Frightening things,
Unhappy things.

Its red glow creeps through the trees
To the remote town,
Where all are asleep,
Feeling safe in their beds.

Creep, Creep, Creep,
The red mist spreads,
Down the streets
And into the homes.

The fog solidifies,
Forming dark shadows,
Shadows of the night,
Who have come to stay.

Game time!

MY NEW 5 STAR REVIEW OF THE DEAD GAME!

MY NEW 5 STAR REVIEW OF THE DEAD GAME!

One step closer to heaven.

cover

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, August 6, 2014
This review is from: The Dead Game (Kindle Edition)
Definitely a page turner, a story that is a bundle of suspense, fantasy and curiosity. Linda, the protagonist has a unique character and sense of perception that keeps the story more intriguing. There is a pinch of romance added to the story and I thoroughly loved the book. The author has written so beautifully. Look forward to read more by her. I got this book in exchange for a honest and fair review.

HAPPINESS IS A 5 STAR REVIEW OF THE DEAD GAME

A GREAT REVIEW THAT MADE MY DAY BRIGHTER!

5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining & suspenseful with good character development, July 23, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Dead Game (Kindle Edition)
By the time you finish this suspenseful tale you feel as if you know the streets of the resort town called Oasis as well as all the people who live there. The one thing you don’t know, however, is who is what they claim to be and who’s not, whether they are good or bad, and what will happen next. There is an excellent mix of reality and paranormal which lends more credibility to the story. It gives you a lot to think about, particularly if you live by an old, seemingly abandoned house with a spooky reputation. If you enjoy moderately scary stories populated with a variety of characters you will enjoy this book. I particularly liked Mike’s sarcastic remarks which had me laughing out loud more than once.

Beware Oasis!
We have come to stay!

THE DEAD GAME -- DAY 178

They were safe at last. Shirley and her crew of vampires were vanquished by Hayden.

Mike couldn’t believe how everything had been resolved with minimal bloodshed—extremely disappointing for him. Once again, Hayden had stepped in at the last minute to save everyone. His own life hadn’t been changed in any way: he was still living the same boring life in the same boring town. But now he had some new options to mull over: to remain a human, to become a human vampire, or even to become a vampire.

Chapter 33
Once again the basement resembled a plain basement: with pipes, a boiler, and cobwebs covering all of the surfaces. Linda couldn’t figure out how the vampires had been able to distort reality so well that the cobwebs had returned to their same exact locations without appearing at all disturbed. She didn’t even mind that the stairs were wet and slippery— just as long as she was able to use them to leave this horrible place once and for all. She energetically bounded up the stairs, eager to leave the dreadful house forever.
