WALK ALONE

WALK ALONE

We walk alone.
We may ask for help,
but no one understands our grief.
No one carries our problems.
This is a journey
we must do alone.

I WALK

Purple sprays my face.
Orange blinds my eyes.
Ice coats my toes.
Salt whips my hair.
I shut my eyes and walk.
My heels dig into the wet sand.
I move deeper into the water.
Waves attack my shivering body.
I waver for a moment.
Then I continue my journey.
I slit my eyes open.
The sky burns red.
The sun has lowered its face.
I stand in icy water in muted colors of amber.
Time to return to the shore.
Or not.
I continue to walk.

I WALK ALONE

I Walk Alone
Source: f0r-you

I WALK ALONE
I walk alone each night.
Far from my bed, I roam.
I cannot fall asleep.
I wander far from home.

The moon is my lone shadow.
My only company as I walk.
I keep my eyes to the ground.
I have no one with whom to talk.

I shiver from the cold wind.
My fingers are tinged blue.
I seldom pass anyone.
Strangers are far and few.

My journey ends at your door.
No courage to ring the bell.
I stand across the street.

As I ponder my own hell.

I WALK ALONE

I walk alone.
In dead silence.
The wind flees.
The moon hides.
Man stays clear.
I walk alone.
Death is my companion.
Fear is my weapon.
Hell is my home.
I walk alone.

WALK ALONE

passium:
“ vintage blog
”
I walk alone each night
On cold, country roads.
No one calls my name.
No one cares to stop.
I walk alone each night,
Hoping to find the one for me,
The one who calls my name,
And who cares enough to stop.

On cold, country roads.
No one calls my name.
No one cares to stop.
I walk alone each night,
Hoping to find the one for me,
The one who calls my name,
And who cares enough to stop.

CALL MY NAME

I walk alone in the cold night.
On roads cleared but deserted.
No one calls my name to stop.
No one cares to see who I am.
I walk alone every night.
Hoping to find the one for me.
Hoping someone calls my name.
And cares enough to stop.

NIGHT WALK

plasmatics-life:
Night Walk - {by Tiina Törmänen} | {Official WebSite}
A walk alone in the dark.
Feel the cold.
Smell the trees.
Hear the snow falling.
Watch the stars sparkle.
Engage all your senses.
No interference.
No voices.
No noises.
Only clean, fresh air.
And you.

THE VICTIM

calms:
nature/vintage blog

I step out from the restaurant.
From where there had been light,
laughter, and voices.
I step into a dark alleyway,
filled with dark shadows.
I hear my footsteps on the cobblestones.
But are there other footsteps
echoing behind me?
Is someone behind me?
Should I sneak into a doorway
to take a peak behind me?
Or should I keep walking?
I see lights up ahead.
I will walk to those beacons
of the night.
Will someone be there to help me?
Will I fall victim to a stalker?
Or will I become a victim of my own imagination?
What do you think?

NATURE'S BOUNTY

WALK ALONE

Who walks there?
I heard footsteps.
I am no longer alone.
Why did I walk this path
all alone?
No good could come of this.
It’s behind me!
Should I turn around or run?
Oh no!
I’ve been hit and I see stars.
I should have run for help.
Too late…
Who walks there?
I heard footsteps.
I am no longer alone.
Why did I walk this path
all alone?
No good could come of this.
It’s behind me!
Should I turn around or run?
Oh no!

I should have run for help.
Too late…

BEING INVISIBLE

Do you ever feel invisible?
That no one is listening to you
or remembers that you exist.
We all feel that way at times.
Just join the invisible crowd.

We all feel that way at times.

HOPE

garakami:

Brooklyn Bridge by Gabriel Flores

We walk alone.
At times we ask for help.
But no one can understand our grief.
No one can carry our problems for us.
We must learn to stand on our own feet.
No one can do this for us.
It is a lonely journey,
but we must do it by ourselves.

BE PROUD. BE STRONG. BE CONFIDENT.

We all walk alone at some point. It is part of nature to be strong and self-sufficient. Be proud. Be self-confident.
