EVIL IN OASIS

WHAT EVIL LIES IN OASIS?

How could evil exist in a perfect paradise?
The town of Oasis is famous for its sunshine,
picturesque streets, and white-sand beaches.
Yet evil haunts the streets at night.
Dark shadows stalk the innocent residents.
Tourists disappear from the fancy Oasis Hotel.
In the center of it all, lies End House, with
its long, dark history of disappearances.
Who is responsible for the evil that has
been kept hidden in Oasis?
Who or what has taken over the town
and has the people terrified to come out at night?

Why does the house beckon to us
even when we know of its evil history?
Families tend to disappear from End House.
So why are we going there?
Can anything good come out of this
besides our own deaths?
But yet, we are still going.

  • End House stands quiet and waiting for us.
A party is supposed to be thrown in our honor.
But no one appears to be home.
There’s no host or guests to greet us.
There are only two lines of candles,
one leading up the main staircase
and the other leading down the right hallway.
Which direction should we choose?
Should we split up or remain together?
See what happens next in THE DEAD GAME.

HAVING A VISION
I enter the bookstore.
It’s cold and dark inside.
I turn on the lights.
Stacks of bookcases are
revealed in the dim light.
I draw the drapes covering the windows.
The Florida sun flows in, directing its
bright glow on the deserted store.
I can envision couches and chairs
between the huge corner windows,
and a counter by the front door to
serve my pastries and coffee.
Yes, it was all coming alive to me.
A perfect bookstore/ coffee shop.
I can see a peaceful future for me
in the seaside town of Oasis.
Little did I know or suspect that otherworldly
plans were taking place at the same time as mine.
And these plans were in no way as
peaceful and innocent as mine.
