HORROR BY THE SEA

HORROR BY THE SEA
We have found the exit from this house.
We’ll sneak out as quiet as a mouse.
The owner must not know we’re gone.
He’ll chase us to death and beyond.
We’ll crawl down by the rocks and sea.
Make our way back in time for tea.
End House won’t hold us anymore.
We’ve seen enough horror and gore.

A MYSTERY

Life is a mystery.
A puzzle all its own.
Help fill it in.
It’s waiting for you.

LET ME READ YOU A STORY

I will read you a story.
It might be all too gory
For you to understand.
But I’ll give you a hand.

A blight falls on a town.
Will surely make you frown.
Residents  disappear.
I want to make this clear.

This isn’t a regular place.
Don’t give me that dark face.
It’s a place of evil creatures.
And many more creepy features.

Dark shadows stalk the night.
Giving tourists a fright.
Florida can be a scary place.
I will soon pick up the poem’s pace.

The Dead want to kill you.
Have you for dinner too.

BURIED IN THE SAND

Source:

I’ve been buried in the dirt.
At least I had on a shirt.
Who did this to me?
I can’t even see.
Sand fills my mouth and my eyes.
I won’t tell you any lies.
I deserve to be in the sand.
So now give me a helping hand.

HIDING BY BEING GREEN

I’m hiding by being green.
On this leaf I won’t be seen.
My orange eyes are watching you.
But yours can’t see me in the dew.

DARK AND GLOOMY DAY

Source:

A dark and gloomy day.
I’m tempted to say, “Hey,
I’m here on vacation, you see,
I only want sunshine for me.”
The clouds are moving past.
They’re moving kind of fast.
Maybe the sun has listened to me.
A great day it will finally be.

LET THE WORLD COME TO ME

Source:

Tall windows to let in the day.
The sun rises and shoots its ray.
I watch people saunter by.
Peek into windows up high.
Nothing can get past me.
I’m free as you can see.
To let the world come home to me.
I’m as happy as I can be.

TOGETHER FOREVER

Run away with me❤

Come run away with me.
Down the stairs to the sea.
We’ll take a fast ship.
Champagne we will sip.
Leave our troubles behind.
New ones we’re sure to find.
We’ll be together forever.
To me you will always tether.
Rocky waves are waiting ahead.
But with me you will make your bed.

THE OASIS HOTEL

Source:

THE OASIS HOTEL
The white hotel on the beach
has everything within reach.
A swimming pool in the sun
offers fun in the hot sun.
The night brings a different story
of The Dead in all their glory.
They come to scare the town,
cold stares served with a frown.
Beware of the walking dead.
They are evil ones to dread.

A PICTURE OF LIFE INSIDE

A picture of life inside.
A window so hard to find
Of laughter and love
Would fit like a glove.
Soft music I can hear.
I want to be right there
With the people having fun
Lit up orange like the sun.

CHARIOTS OF HELL

Dark blue clouds fill the whole sky.
Puffy cotton balls up high.
Rumbling sounds all around.
Crashing noises of loud sound.

Chariots of hell are coming here.
We need to get away before they near.
Hell has opened to let them out.
They come for us all this dark night.

THEN COMES THE CRACK

Source:

We can hold ourselves firm.
Strong against all obstacles.
Ready to tackle all problems.
And then comes the crack.
The one obstacle we can’t stop.
The one thing we have no control over.
It can break us apart into pieces.
It can weaken our hold onto life.
Or it can make us stronger still.
We all hit that obstacle at one point in our lives.
What will you do?

THE MIGHTY FALL

The mighty now fall
Who had been so tall.
Melting to the sea,
Where no one can see
The majesty of your height
Or the last breath of your fight.
Please don’t leave us now.
Don’t take your last bow.
The earth will be a sadder place
Without your bright and shiny face.
