THE MIGHTY WILL FALL

glaciers
Collapsing Giants. Greenland. [1080×108] Photo by Daniel Kordan

The mighty will fall
that had risen tall.

Melting to the sea
where no one can see
the majesty of your height
or the last breath of your fight.

Please do not leave us now.
Don’t take your final bow.

The earth is a sadder place
without your glowing, white face.

A TEASE

A peek at the beauty ahead.
A glimpse of the possibilities.
A hint of its dark majesty.
A tease of what’s yet to come.

NATURE'S WILL BE DONE

We fight nature’s will.
Ride its mighty waves.
Dig up its natural resources.
Cut down its plentiful trees.
Pollute its clear waters.
But will we ever have total control?
Make it bow to our will.
Never.
Nature can never be tamed
or controlled.
It will remain strong,
long after we’re gone.

RAINDROPS ON MY MIND

Raindrops on my mind.
A feeling of cleanliness.
How can we resist its pull?
It draws us to the window
to watch its majestic descent to earth.
It washes away all dirt and impurities.
The dirt left by humanity.
Wash me.
Make me fresh and new once again.
Who can ask for anything more?

NATURE'S MAJESTY

Beauty.
Majesty.
Awe-inspiring.
There are no words
to describe this.
Nature’s work cannot
be compared or copied.

MAJESTIC BEING

MAJESTIC BEING

Why so sad, pretty horse?
Is your head down because
you’re alone or because you’re
watching your little friend?
What goes through the mind
of this majestic being?
Only noble thoughts.
