CARBON COPIES OF OURSELVES

Do we have doubles?
Human beings who are
exactly like us?
It would be much easier
to replicate an animal
than another human being.
Someone may look like me, but
there’s no way they could be me.
Someone with the same ambitions,
insecurities, hopes, and dreams like me.
No way!
We’re each unique in our ways.
Would we even want a carbon copy
of ourselves?
I definitely wouldn’t.

HUMAN NATURE
exercicesdestyles:
as stairs into a complicated statue?
Why create a staircase with twenty steps
when it only requires four steps?
As human beings we love to complicate
everything around us.
We search for the complex solution when
the simple answer is staring us right in the face.
Simple can be just as elegant and rewarding.

LIFE'S LONG JOURNEY
LIFE’S JOURNEY
Life’s journey may be long and dark,
but we must take it to grow and learn.
At journey’s end, we will see that is was all worth it.
Are we just pieces put to together?
Are we the sum of our parts?
Or are we something more?
Do we serve a purpose?
These are difficult questions,
but I believe that we have been
placed on earth for a purpose.
We live our lives with ups and downs,
but we learn important lessons along the way.
If we learn correctly, then we will have
something useful to offer the rest of mankind.
It is sad but true, that many people don’t learn
much during their lives.
But they only live to serve themselves.
If we ignore these useless beings, then there is much
good and beauty to be found in this world.
