BOOK HEAVEN

A perfect place for me.
Books as far as you can see.
Covering the tall walls.
Even lining the halls.
Stories for me to read.
Nothing more I would need.

THE TEA PARTY

THE TEA PARTY
Join my tea party.
Don’t be afraid to drink the tea.
It isn’t poisoned.
I promise!
What?
You don’t trust the Cheshire Cat.
I wouldn’t either.
Meow!

THE END

Just when you think it’s safe
to leave your bedroom.
When the howling and chanting
have subsided.
Your foot hits the floor.
It’s not over.
THE END

GONE

Gone for good.
My identity.
My uniqueness.
My face.
Gone.

YOUR HEAT

Source:

I wait for you each night.
Your sparkling glow.
Your everlasting heat.
The night bows to you.
The stars gather round.
Man worships you.
Take me inside.

BROKEN GLASS

They fly against the Town Hall.
Our shelter from the storm.
They’ve found us.
Windows break.
Glass rains upon us.
The end has come.
Too soon.
THE DEAD GAME SERIES

A COLD HELL

Blackness beckons.
Fingers grab me.
Teeth rip at me.
Fish beside me.
THE DEAD  below.
Laughter fills the void.
A cold hell for me.
I am lost.

THE EDGE

Source:

A walk to the edge.
A dip in the ocean.
A dive into the unknown.
It will soon cover me
With its soothing wetness.
Am I ready?

THE REAPER

Grim reaper stands over me,
where The Dead have come to be.
Blood won’t be my drink of choice,
not if I have any voice.
I will go down with a fight.
I refuse to take a bite.
No bloodthirsty demon down here.
No reason to have any fear.

A HORROR TALE

Stay away from here. Death I cannot bear. I’m telling a horror tale with each wag of my fine tail. Oasis it is not. More of a horror spot. Tourists disappear into the thin air. One day they’re right here. Next day they’re nowhere. THE DEAD...

I WALK ALONE

I walk alone at night
when the moon is full height.
The sky black as tar,
but I won’t walk far.
I search for the shadow
on a road so narrow.
I want to see who he’s become;
The Dead leader, the evil one.

DEATH COMES TO TOWN

I look out the window and what do I see? A storm growing in force and coming for me. Death comes to town. It has its own name. The one that I know is called The Dead Game. THE DEAD GAME by Susanne Leist http://amzn.to/1lKvMrP http://bit.ly/1lFdqNj

A midnight so dark and blue.

A midnight so dark and blue.
It’s coming for me and you.
The tides are rising to a new height,
While fighting the shore with all their might.
The clear skies are dark blue.
The clouds are far and few.
The darkness brings us shadows and fears,
And people running away in tears.
I’ve heard about The Dead.
They fill my heart with dread.
It’s time to hide from death.
No time to take a breath.

CASTLE IN THE SKY

CASTLE IN THE SKY

The castle in the sky,
Oh my, oh my, oh my.
I want to go there.
Let free my long hair.
Water flows by my feet,
Such a miraculous feat.
A violin at my feet,
But the water appears deep.
As it parts for me.
I walk through the sea.
The castle in the sky.
Oh my, oh my, oh my.

SHY CEMETERY

Source:

A cemetery so shy
the dead and gone pass it by.
The graves hide in shame
from its silly name.
No mausoleums to grace it,
or fine tombstones to enhance it.
Please stay away from here.
The dead don’t want you near.
