A DAY AT THE BEACH

A day at the beach.
The sea breeze soothes my aching soul.
Seagulls taunt me with their cries.
Cold water tickles my toes.
Sand flows through my fingers.
A day in Oasis, Florida.
A day at the beach
Before The Dead arrive.

CRASHING WAVES

CRASHING WAVES
Waves crashing to shore.
I want more and more.
The mist in my face
Keeps me in this place.
The tides dare to peak,
Lulling me to sleep.
This is my spot for now.
Waves, I refuse to bow.
I stand strong on the rocks,
Time passes on the clocks.
Deserted house I might be,
But I stand alone and free.

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE
Palm trees waving in the breeze.
A taste of salt water in the air.
Calm waters in blues and greens.
Lush greenery as far as the eye can see.
Too good to be true?
Does a place like this exist?
It does exist in Oasis, Florida.
A small community nestled on the beach.
Brilliant white sand sparkles in the afternoon sun.
Tourists sunbathe alongside the pool of the Oasis Hotel.
But at night everything changes.
Gone is the feeling of peace and serenity.
Gone are the warm trade winds.
Instead, cold winds bring with them dark shadows.
Dark shadows bringing evil and fear.
The Dead have come to town.
