TOO OFTEN

TOO OFTEN

Too often, there are deaths.
Too often, there are murders.
Too often, we stop and stare.
Too often, people look away.
Sad, but true.
Human nature possesses an evil side,
which tempts us each day.
Its flipside offers us a way to achieve
purer thoughts and good deeds.
Which path will lead to a better world?
Too often, we make the wrong choice.

SPLIT SECOND DECISION

You’re driving down the road at a high speed,
listening to the squeal of your tires in protest.
Your tires are nearing the edge,
a steep drop to sharp rocks.
Is this what you want?
Is the adrenaline rush worth it?
You have a split second
to make the right decision.
What choice will you make?

A SPLIT SECOND

You’re taking the road at a high speed.
Listening to the squeal of your tires in protest.
Your tires are nearing the edge,
a steep drop to sharp rocks.
Is this what you want?
Is the adrenaline rush worth
a life of endless pain
or an end in darkness?
You have a split second
to make the right decision.
To decide upon your future.
What choice will you make?

GOING UP OR DOWN?

Are you climbing the stairs
or are you walking down them?
Are you looking upward toward the light
or looking down away from it?
It all depends upon your point of view.
Are you an optimist, forever looking upward?
Or are you a pessimist, forever checking for trouble?
It’s your own choice on how
you decide to lead you life.
Choose wisely.

THE ROAD TAKEN

WHICH ROAD SHOULD WE TAKE?
At different points in our lives, we must make choices.
These choices determine who we are and who we will become.
