A SHIMMERING BLUE

Source:

Haze covers the town,
but please do not frown.
Secrets are concealed.
The Dead are revealed.
We come in the fog.
The mist we don’t hog.
We’ll share it with you,
a shimmering blue.
The moon shines its glare
on those who come here.
Frolic in the night.
Just keep out of sight.

A TOUCH OF PINK

A touch of pink in the night.
I do not need too much light.
I grow and bud in the dark.
Please take a walk in the park.
Can you feel me touch your hair?
If you cannot, please come near.
I sprout in the spring for you and me.
A prettier sight you cannot see.

RISE FOR ME

hueandeyephotography:

RISE FOR ME

Will the sun rise today?
Colors of yellow and red.
Glowing inside to its own beat.
Shimmering with heat.
Ready to begin a new day.

Will you rise today?
Bringing light to the dismal world.
Breaking into the darkness.
Shattering the bleakness.
With your bright rays.

Will you rise today for me?
Please do.
For I need you.
I need your light.
Your soul.
Your heavenly body.
Please rise for me today.

COME TO ME

COME TO ME

The ocean shimmers.
Shades of blues and greens.
Soft ripples.
Lapping waves.
Reflecting the sun’s core.
Glistening.
But here she comes.
The ship to shore.
Too close to the rocks.
Stay clear of the sharp points.
Stay clear of the strong currents.
Come to me.
Come to me safely.

SEA OF GOLD

SEA OF GOLD

fuckingbizarre:
Sea of Gold by Maciej Bartnicki on 500px

The land beckons to you.
You want to sink your
feet into its soft sand.
You want to watch the
sun set
on its shimmering water.
The sand parts to show
its hidden treasures.
You stick your toes into
the cold water.
It is everything you’d imagined
and much more.
Dream your dreams and
someday they might come true.

ALL BY MYSELF

dehanginggarden:

when blue is blue by chriseastmids

In the dark of night,
a plant grows by itself.
Around it the land is barren.
No colors shimmer in the darkness,
besides the deep blue of its petals.
It hangs its head down low,
weeping for its loneliness,
waiting for other flowers to bloom.
But sadly, it must wait in vain,
for no other plant will flower nearby.
