SHINE IN THE NIGHT

The night grows heavy.
It grows dark.
We look to the moon
to bask in its glow.
A halo of blue
falls to earth.
Blue against orange
to shine in the night.

TIDES ARE RISING

Midnight so dark and blue.
It comes for me and you.
The tides rise to a new height,
hitting the beach with their might.

Clear skies so dark blue.
Clouds are far and few.
The darkness brings night fears,
people running in tears.

I’ve heard about The Dead.
They fill my heart with dread.
It’s time to hide from death.
No time to take a breath.

MIDNIGHT MOON

THE DEAD GAME

A midnight so dark and blue.
It’s coming for me and you.
The tides are rising to a new height,
While fighting the shore with all its might.

The clear skies are dark blue.
The clouds are far and few.
The darkness brings us shadows and fears,
And people running away in tears.

Who is able to control the moon?
I’m afraid they’ll be here all too soon.
Dark shadows are descending on the shore.
They’re many but soon there will be much more.

I’ve heard about The Dead.
They fill my heart with dread.
It’s time to hide from death.
No time to take a breath.

BLUE MOON

We’ve had a Red Moon.
Now we have a Blue Moon?
Do The Dead care what color the moon is?
No, they don’t.
They will rise no matter the moon’s color.
