CRIMSON TIDE

Blood runs red
with inky determination.
It fills the ocean
with crimson.
It arrives with the tides
to our sandy shores.
Bodies fall
in the wake of its path.
The next night it returns
to sprinkle blood once more.
THE DEAD...

TIDES ARE RISING

Midnight so dark and blue.
It comes for me and you.
The tides rise to a new height,
hitting the beach with their might.

Clear skies so dark blue.
Clouds are far and few.
The darkness brings night fears,
people running in tears.

I’ve heard about The Dead.
They fill my heart with dread.
It’s time to hide from death.
No time to take a breath.

BRING THE PAIN

Source:

The sun hides its head
While the waves rage on.
The clouds turn away
While blood rushes on.
The moon shies away
While the tide meets rock.
Faces hide in vain
While the seas bring the pain.

ONE LAST BREATH

ONE LAST BREATH
Down in the blue vacuum,
I’ll depart from here soon.
As I float down,
you need not frown.
This is where I want to be.
I will be finally free.
I hold firm against the tide.
Small fish gather at my side.
I feel lightheaded and free
I am now one with the sea.
