Look to the glowing skies,

Magic before my eyes.

Snow flutters to the ground

Without even a sound.

Masking the dirt with white,

So pretty and so bright.

I hope it can remain this way,

A blanket for one more day.

touch my skin.

Wrapping around my body.

It refreshes and awakens me

To the wonders of the clear world.

I can see fish and dolphins

Swimming below me in the sea.

There’s no other place I’d rather be.

Filled with creatures swimming free.

A harmony of constant movement,

Following the slow tempo of the deep.

A hush falls across the city.

It cushions the earth.
