SEE THE RAINBOW

I can see the rainbow.

I can almost touch it.

I can feel its radiating warmth.

But the road is too long.

With too many roadblocks.

Too many twists and turns.

I don’t have the strength.

Please help me.

I want it.

I need it.

WHAT DO YOU SEE?

Do you want to jump into the water?
Do you want to know what’s on the other side?
We are all curious about the unknown.
We all want what we can’t have or reach.
Why should a dog be any different?

Is reality on the inside or the outside?
Are we in a drab room,
looking out at the sunset?
Or we standing outside by the water
with a fake room around us?
If we try to leave the room,
will a door shut us in or will
we be able to walk outside?
Where do we want to be?
The room offers shelter and comfort,
while the outside offers adventure and freedom.
Once we know the answer to this question, then
we will know if the walls will lift away for us.
