SOAK ME

Source:
Hit me.
Strike me.
I will carry on.
Soak me.
Shake me.
I will carry on.
Sink me.
Drown me.
I’ll still be here.

CLOSER TO THE BLUE

CLOSER TO THE BLUE

I sink deeper with each footstep,

Bringing me closer to the blue.

The blue-green water sways

Beneath a blue sky so true.

A fantasy worth remembering.

A dream worth keeping.

Take me back to the shore,

I long for so much more.

My world is so bleak.

I can’t get to sleep.

I gaze at the soulless streets

And never fall asleep.

If I close my eyes tight,

I might see my paradise this night.

It will take me back to times

When everything was so fine.

SOAK ME

Hit me.
Strike me.
I will carry on.
Soak me.
Shake me.
I will carry on.
Sink me.
Drown me.
I’ll still be here.

Hit me.
Strike me.
I will carry on.
Soak me.
Shake me.
I will carry on.
Sink me.
Drown me.
I’ll still be here.

IT WAITS

Source:

It waits.
It waits for me.
Can I do it?
Will I do it?
Should I jump?
Will I jump?
The salt air.
The strong waves.
The wet breeze.
It calls to me.
My siren calls.
Goodbye to all.

THE SEA

It fights for its path.
Grinding down rocks.
Swallowing debris whole.
It roars to the shore.
Waiting for no one.
Its might is its right.
To be here for ever more.

LEAP OF FAITH

thanksforthelovemke:
Let’s go for a swim.
Should we jump in with or without a life jacket?
Do we take the risk or play it safe?
That is the question we face
everyday of our lives.
Should we play it safe or not?
Sometimes we should take a leap of faith
and leap into the water without a life jacket.
