What can you conjure up in the dark?
Do you see ghosts or demons?
Evil creatures that come out at night.
That’s what I see when I close
my eyes for the night.
The shadows become
hands reaching for me.
The air conditioner becomes
the moaning of the wind.
The creaking of the house turns
into the whispers of the dead.
Falling asleep is fun time for me.
