LIFE IN A BALL
Life in a ball.
A tiny capsule of life.
Where we may fall.
And then rise again from strife.
Life can be short.
It can easily stop.
It may be sport
To some of us or not.
Take advantage of it.
Ride the choppy wave.
Live life to the fullest.
And be worthy of a save.
The bouncing ball could be yours.
Take hold of the ride.
It departs on many tours.
Take care not to hide.

TAKE ME TO HEAVEN
Take me to heaven.
I am ready.
I am finished.
Time to leave.
This life of strife.
Of sadness.
Of eternal woe.
Let me walk up the stairs.
Hear the sweet music.
And follow the bright light.
Make way for me.
For I am ready.
Ready to leave.
This life for the next.
Take me to heaven.
Where all woes are gone.
Sadness is only but a memory.
Take me through the pearly gates.
I am ready.
For the next stage.
I can hear the music.
I can see the light.
I am climbing the stairs.
No more woe for me.
Only happiness and bliss.

LIFE'S JOURNEY
LIFE’S JOURNEY
Life’s journey may be long and dark,
but we must take it to grow and learn.
At journey’s end, we will see that is was all worth it.
What are we made of?
Are we just pieces put to together?
Are we the sum of our parts?
Or are we something more?
Do we serve a purpose?
These are difficult questions,
but I believe that we have been
placed on earth for a purpose.
We live our lives with ups and downs,
but we learn important lessons along the way.
If we learn correctly, then we will have
something useful to offer the rest of mankind.

A LONG HARD ROAD TO FOLLOW
The road at times feels long and tiring.
No end in sight.
Only hardships along the way.
When will life turn around?
When will it get better?
What lies at the end of this bumpy road?
Are there rainbows and trumpets?
Or a long drop into the dark water?
I'm hoping for the rainbows and trumpets.
I don't want to have to swim against
the currents any longer.
