Sliding down below.

Where no one will dare to tread.

Down the dark hollow.

Darkness fills each side.

Gravity, my enemy.

No place left to hide.

I keep falling down.

Will I hit rock bottom hard?

I won’t land on down.

My descent goes fast.

I’ve come to my bitter end.

Life is in the past.

A Darkness To My Soul

The black abyss grabs hold,

Taking me down into its soul.

Reflections of hell and beyond,

Pushing me down deeper.

Away from the light of day,

I will bring out my worst.

Take me down to the bottom,

Where no human has tread.

Away from the light,

I will make my dark bed.

Niagara Falls, over the edge

TO THE UNKNOWN

Take a walk over the edge.
If only we could.
A step into the unknown.
A fall into rushing water.
A soothing coldness.
An icy headiness.
No other sounds.
Only rushing water.
Holding you near and close.
Safe until you hit rock bottom.
To the unknown.

THE DARK ABYSS

Falling…
Deeper and deeper
into the dark abyss.
No sights.
No sounds.
Only the air whooshing by
as I fall.
Will someone save me?
Will I hit rock bottom?
Is there a bottom to this hell
we call life?
Only time will tell.
