THERE IS NOTHING TO FEAR

1 Nothing to fear

You tell me there’s nothing to fear
since The Dead will soon be here.
Waves cascade to the shore.
I don’t believe The Dead lore.
No clouds dot the azure sky.
The seagulls squawk as they fly by.
Nothing can ruin this paradise.
Yet, cold fear runs through you like ice.
Now, the winds quicken their speed.
But still, I refuse to heed.
The sky darkens to black.
You yell for me to pack.
Then, one last glance at the trees
shows them falling to their knees.
