Everyone is a suspect in this story. I love good
vampire stories and Leist's work didn't disappoint me in any way. The
little town of Oasis has a few very dark secrets. The main character
thinks she's finally found the quiet little life that's been on her wish
list for a good while. She opens a bookstore. Instead, she finds that
the evenings after sunset are filled with stalkers in the form of
vampires. Leist has a real talent for physical descriptions of both time
and place. Her story is filled with creative twists and turns that keep
you on the edge of your seat. I loved it.
