Take me to where the sun shines its light
until the moon raises its spotlight.
As I lie down on a sheet of grass,
I feel like one troubled human mass.
Cover me with a blanket of flowers
as I gaze at the rainbow for hours.
I’m floating above the trees,
looking at my form at ease.
Contentment relaxes my face
as my heart slows its hectic pace.
I will be ready to face the day.
Serenity will be my mainstay.
