HERE COMES THE MOON

Here comes the moon.
Taking the place of heat.
Bringing with it a coldness.
A darkness.
Up it goes into the sky.
Towering above us all.
Ruling over its domain.
Some nights it reveals its full face.
Other nights it hides in the shadows.
While it watches.
Watches us.
While we wait for the heat to return.
