I FEEL BLUE
Inside, I feel blue.
Do you feel it too?
Only sadness all around.
No happiness to be found.
Why do I always feel this same way?
Am I destined to forever pay
For others' misfortunes and deeds
That no one listens to or heeds.
I want to see other colors and shades.
And not just blue that eventually fades.
I want orange and green
And everything in-between.
My heart is feeling lighter.
The world is turning brighter.
Maybe the world revolving on its axis
Will make life easier than death and taxes.
