Why does death follow me everywhere?
When will the sun shine for me?
Why can’t I hear the birds chirping?
When will I be free to enjoy life once again?
I can feel the darkness enveloping me
in its sinister grasp.
I need to open my mind to the light
and let it guide me to better times.
