A DEEP HOLE

DEEP HOLE

Syd’s Opal Daydream v (11)
©buron – May ‘14
Come into my darkness.
My deepest depths.
Where dreams and nightmares flourish.
And light is held at bay.
Come in and be lost.
Lost in my utter despair.
Where loneliness and horror
are the rules of the day.

HOTTER THAN HELL

Hotter than hell is their playground.
Beneath layers of rocks and dirt.
They wait for their day of salvation.
When they can ride in the storm.
They grow impatient for the invasion.
The end of life as we know it.
I can hear their cries blowing in the wind.
The whispers brought forth from below.
It’s time for us to gather ammunition.
Before our poor town is nothing at all.

PRINCE OF DARKNESS

Come inside.
A palace awaits you.
It might appear deserted.
Run down and unused.
The inside tells
a different story.
Walk on marble floors
through rooms of delight.
Rooms of different eras.
Reflecting a dead man’s dreams.
A man with no life or future.
Waiting for the end of time.
In a house fit for a prince
or a prince of darkness.
